I really like Antonio but he was fucking gash against Southampton and has neglected his defensive duties a few times this season. Its no good him popping up all over the place because when it breaks down he is nowhere to be seen. Only payet should have a free role. Randolph is a cunt too, he should have been banging on bilics door to start not out on the fucking piss with the Durham bumper silly cunt.....

Worried by those bbc comments, they've had the chance to put it right & show fight but haven't- & itsnot just players under performing its cleatly the team selection.
Billic doesn't see Kanoute's form/role in team as an issue as mentioned...

Opinions of course but I am 180 degrees away from your view on Kouyate and Noble Ronald. :-)
Kouyate has never and never will be a defensive midfielder. He could be but has never had the discipline and his instinct is to run box to box but when not in possession he looks on and usually from the half way line.
Kouyate bigger problem is that he cannot pass or control a football well enough. He can use his strength to retain it sometimes but in the modern pressing game him as a defensive midfielder would be a risk as he will likely give it away too much.
Noble lacks pace and its a problem as he gets caught in possession. He also appears to slow things down but a big part of that is lack of movement and options in midfield and up front. He tries to help out defensively but is a liability for free kicks as his pace means he relies on diving in or sliding which is all but outlawed nowadays.
Kouyate has been far worse over the 6 games than Noble this season which shows just how awful he has been from a team controbution standpoint. A few runs with the ball and thats it and one of the worse passing stats in the league. Needs a rest IMO of course

Based on Gold's comments on website it seems clear that Noble will be starting again. I can't see him dropping Kouyate so same team again only with Nordveit probably injured too.

Kouyate's just a defender / defensive midfielder, but for some reason is given a license to roam forwards. I don't see why he's allowed to be honest because he rarely creates anything. He carries the ball occasionally and that's about it.
I'd leave him defensive midfield, tell him to concentrate on protecting the defence like he did at West Brom because he's much more influential in that role.
In my opinion, despite this, despite that soppy mistake, he's still been head and shoulders above than Noble.
